CSB and the police were notified plenty of times, the school reported it and no one did anything to help this poor kid. not only in Struthers, but in Hubbard where they lived prior to this. CSB is horrible, they don't care about kids half of the time they don't ever investigate calls that are reported to them. But someone needs to answer for what happened to this little boy, because had they followed up on it, he would still be here.
Judge Sweeney does this ALL the time for murder cases, some she hands down light sentences others she throws the book at. Depends on who she owes a favor to, I don't like her tactics and don't know how she is still on the bench, oh wait people voted for her. smh
As a resident of Struthers it saddens me to hear of stories like these. As a mother it is heart breaking to know anything like this happened to a child and another mother allowed it to happen. Throw that animal away and never let him see the light of day and lock that pitiful excuse of a mother up too. Why did this little boy have to endure such a thing, what did he do so wrong that these people treated him in such a disgraceful manner? I Pray that both of them, the mother and the boyfriend get more than 30 yrs for this heinous crime.

In watching the morning news, Pakos mothers interview didn't depict a mourning mother, she stated "THEY KILLED MY SON WHILE HE WAS IN THE BED SLEEPING AND CONFRONTED BURGLARS STEALING HIS TV'S AND GAME SYSTEM.. I COULD HAVE BOUGHT YOU AND YO MOMMA TV'S AND GAMES".. Really, that lady spoke volumes how he was raised.. And he was STILL DEALING in Heroin AND in a neighborhood where many children reside. So was Pako a bad person, YES HE WAS .. Did it justify his killing, maybe not HOWEVER his activities should have been reported and maybe he would have been locked up instead of murdered.. 16 or 17, she should not have been dating/hanging out with a known drug dealer because ultimately, living her life on the edge cost her dearly .. Folks don't like the Truth, but it is what it is THE TRUTH .. No Disrespect Intended
How was this article "racial" in any way? There is no certain race walking around with their pants hanging low, and for the record I've observed it as well in BOARDMAN. Either way it goes, underwear shouldn't be seen. And by the way, I'm black female home owner in Struthers, so there goes your race card out the window..!!
