To be honest. I think that we don't need either one of them(Tablack/ Antonini) Lets do more with less like everyone else in the private sector is doing. Don't fill their positions and let someone else do the work.. Oops sorry they're public sector.
according to the article, Kenner says that union members were laid off because they didn't take concessions. Let's make the 5 engineers who are getting pay raises to take concessions or lay them off too. Quit talking out of both sides of your mouth. I say vote everyone in office out and vote no for any additional or continuing taxes............
i made it to work with no problem. even last year when we had all that snow in feb. i made it to work. no 4-wheel drive either. no work =no pay. deduct it fron their checks salaried or not......
JME- Please answer these two quesions. Do you think that you were better off 40 yrs. ago, 30yrs. ago, 20 yrs. ago or even 10 yrs. ago than you are today? Do you think that you will be better off now or in the future with the way this country is headed? The issue here is IMPORTS not union jobs. Like I said your job next keep buying imports. It's here . It,s not going to leave until you people out there wake up.
JME- the question is not about union wages or union shops. Please answer these two questions. Are we, you, the usa better off now then we were 40 years ago, 30years ago, 20 years ago, or even 10 years ago? Will we, you, the usa be better off in 10 years, 20 years, or 30 years from now going in the direction that we are? I seriously think that the amount of imports that we have are definitely contributing to the way we are headed. If (that's a big word) we did not purchase the foreign goods that came into our country most of the good paying jobs would still be here. We did not bring other countries wages up to our level we brought ours down to their poverty level. Union shops or not.
