great letter. i am the same as you. i look for things that are made in the u.s. the problem is, the mentality of the majority of the people of this once great country just don't get what has happened. they need to take economics 101. just look around the next time you are out riding around in your car. just look and try to analize their thinking. dish network driving around in toyota trucks. no dish network for me. bloomin crazy florist driving a honda. no bloomin for me. then we have retired veterans proudly displaying their license plateframe on a foreign vehicle especially the japanese ones. didn't they bring us pearl harbor? where in the world is their thinking. just remember your job next, keep buying imports. the time is here. plan on no industry low wages , no health care, higher taxes, and the trickling affect that has just started to set in.

JME- the question is not about union wages or union shops. Please answer these two questions. Are we, you, the usa better off now then we were 40 years ago, 30years ago, 20 years ago, or even 10 years ago? Will we, you, the usa be better off in 10 years, 20 years, or 30 years from now going in the direction that we are? I seriously think that the amount of imports that we have are definitely contributing to the way we are headed. If (that's a big word) we did not purchase the foreign goods that came into our country most of the good paying jobs would still be here. We did not bring other countries wages up to our level we brought ours down to their poverty level. Union shops or not.
