Excellent analysis on this article! Facts are precise and to the point without emotion taking a side. SB5 was way too onesided. Unions are not out of control like they once were, they are acting responsible while representing their own. When was the last time there was a radical strike demanding unreasonable rights? Public employess are not to blame for the poverty that the vindy reported on, that idea is ridiculous to suggest! Fact of the matter is that public employees PAY TAXES TOO! The right-wing side is so negative that they believe their own distortions, teachers DO pay 10% of their pensions and healthcare pay is 12% heading higher with each N E G O T I A T E D contract!!!!! Right on Vindicator with your recommendation of a NO vote on SB5!
SOC.....you nailed it! Charms is ridiculosly miserable...always bashing teachers.....makes you wonder what his/her/its story really is....way too much negativity so it has to be personal. EVERYONE pays taxes and not too many are happy about it, but bashing the education profession is just absurd! Karin, I thoroughly enjoy reading your posts.....you must be an awesome teacher, good for you, God Bless You...keep touching lives like you do! Unfortuantely the haters will continue to hate, but teachers will continue to rise above it and do their jobs!!!!
Hey Charms.....scroll back a few comments, I believe it was paulparks picking on Poster 1.....so it stands to reason that those of you bashing educators have difficulty reading!!!!
Hey paulparks.....how about ENOUGH already from YOU!!!! You are thee most negative, miserable person posting on this site. You clearly are a very unhappy and frustrated individual that obviously had some bad experiences in school with teachers. But rest assured that if you have children in school, a genuiene caring teacher is nuturting them and preparing them for life while daddy blast their very existence on a web site.
No Charms....YOU ARE WRONG.... (1) her merit=her school rating was excellent! (2) her "spanking" the vindicator for reporting salaries= she was defending the J O B teachers do! (3) voters did not give Poland schools a 'thumbs down', they gave more taxes a thumbs down, most live in Poland because of the awesome schools, funding schools needs to be examined by the state!
Voters face school levy in Poland for 3rd time
