One thing not mentioned is that anyone, yes anyone, can take an euthanasia course and perform euthanasia if the clinic/shelter/etc has the euthanasia solution that a DVM bought and a DVM does not have to be on the premise. Dog pounds/wardens do it all the time. see ohio administrative code 4729-14-01, 4729-14-03, 4741-1-23.
I think it's just amazing what kind of support the cat ladies is getting. I always thought they were doing a great job and know that they helped hundreds of cats in the last two years. I also know that Animal Charity did allow they to 'pull' cats and kittens from there right before they were to be euthanized. (Pull meaning take cats from a kill shelter to a no kill shelter so they have more time to be adopted) I seems to be alot more going on here than meets the eye....I for one will be following this tragedy........ love for all the poor kitties that were killed at animal charity, we will see you again at the rainbow bridge............

More than 70 cats taken from Cat Ladies Society
