Plea comes in death of three Marine Corps recruits

I truly hope that Donald Williams gets the max. Three previous convictions for DUI/DWI this man never should have been behind the wheel sober, muchless under the influence of whatever he was that day. The trucking company also needs to stand up and do right by the families of all the victims as the company bears all of the responsibility for allowing someone like Williams to operate their equipment.

Trucker faces more charges in recruits’ deaths

I question the trucking company that hired him. Did they actually do a background check? There is a report that they had an independent company do the background check. How did he obtain a license that showed a clean record? Add it all up and it just doesn't make sense that any background check was ever done. Strimbu Trucking, I hope you have some good lawyers, you are going to need them........

Two deadly Trumbull crashes raise questions about causes

Crashes, very well put, not accidents. Nobody ever means to do it. With the 3 Marine recruits, that was 2 months ago. What has happened to the toxicology reports? Is the driver of that tractor still making his living with his CDL license? What happened to presenting the evidence to the Grand Jury? Vehicular manslaughter or vehicular homicide? Where does this case stand right now? Please don't forget that 3 young lives were snuffed out by a truck running up into the back of a stopped G6 Pontiac. Those boys had no chance and deserve the rightful outcome of a full investigation and prosecution.

Truck driver was disoriented at fatal crash scene, report says

If all the information on the driver is correct I question the trucking company on why they would hire a driver with 3 DWIs' and numerous other driving infractions. It seems more criminal to put a guy like that behind the wheel of that many tons of steel, like putting a loaded AK-15 in the hands of a serial killer.

Semi driver not talking about accident

After 3 DWI's no one should be allowed to drive for at least 10 years of proven sobriety and then only under constant supervision such as a probation period of 5 years. This man should never have been allowed to operate a commercial vehicle at all, under no circumstance.
