Courtney, Austin, Ryan and the ENTIRE Mooney football team has worked VERY hard to get where they are. They have all played since they were little boys and have practiced hard to develop the skills they have. Each and every one of those boys have mutual respect for each other and everyone around them. I am very proud and happy that they have EARNED the spot for this championship title. The coaches and support staff as well as the teaches and administraters at Cardinal Mooney are kind caring and work together to build the strength and character that these boys all have. As far as the comments that Mooney pulls the best players to play and win..I have watched all of these boys grow up since they started off with flag football. There are a lot of schools in this entire area that have a players with a lot of talent. It doesnt only take talent to win. It takes the coaching physically and mentally to win!
Boo Woo!! A big bunch of cry babies! From where I sat there were a lot of bad calls against Mooney. So many of you are quick to call Mooney's great sucess nothing more than luck and/or cheating but the simple fact remains.....MOONEY HAS PURE TALENT AND GREAT COACHING! Mooney football players work VERY hard and deserve every win they get! All of the jealous haters need to be a little more focused on the children and all of the great wonderful effort that they put forth!
It's so easy to make such negitve comments. Stop for just a minutes and look at the coachs and boys that have worked SO HARD to get to where they are at. This CMHS team has definate skill but with out hard work and determination they would'nt be doing as well as they are. All of the jealous Mooney "haters" need to remember that all of the young men on this team work very hard and deserve everything they have earned.

Mooney makes early statement in Division III

Cheerleader who collapsed, died identified as Jabraya Howell
This is truly a tragic loss. This little girl comes from such a strong solid family, it's so sad. We can only trust that she is in a better place.
