@Crimelander: No this article is correct. The police detained these individuals and turned them over to Border Patrol Agents from the Erie, PA Border Patrol Station, which is part of the Buffalo Sector of the United States Border Patrol.
@ Crimelander: Thanks for the advice about the tri-recumbent. Not having a pick-up truck, hauling it around would pose a problem. Riding from home isn't always practicable for me, with the schedule I keep. I sometimes go somewhere on the spur of the moment.
I agree that riding has been some of my most enjoyable "downtime". Also a great opportunity for picture taking. Back in '81 I got a picture of a PT-17 Stearman biplane sitting in a field near Alliance. Slow old plane but good for aerobatics, I'm told.
