Does the UAW realize they are strangling Ford and preventing it from being competitive with GM and Chrysler who have been freed from some of these labor costs?
My husband works for Ford in a non-union job that pays MUCH less than a UAW member. We are not getting the raise this year that we desperately need. I've been laid off and haven't been able to find work for months. But we reassured ourselves that Ford was on the right path to becoming strong.
The UAW is killing people other Ford employees who are just struggling to make ends meet but don't have a say in making Ford viable.
