Lawsuit seeks to shutter Lemon Grove

I suspect that many of these folks who are so quick to trash this small business start up / expansion with growing pains have a downer chip on their shoulder which leads mostly in a negative direction. AKA downers. $20,000 grand for six sinks, a small bit of fencing and a stove hood sounds pretty excessive which leads me to suspect the credibility of the claimant.

Banners from YSU repurposed as totes

Another idea, the banners can be repainted by artists with original designs and this street banner project could grow outward into the surrounding community. I am a professional artist. In the mid 90's I did a hand painted banner project for the Butler Art Museum's 14 front lawn banners. There is still one of my hand painted banners on display that has been in use for about 17 yrs and looks better than the newer digitally printed banners that the museum had since switched over to. I could lead such a project but not for free, of course. see some of my work at; www.christianmrosko.com

From Doom To Boom

I've read that accurate environmental impact studies haven't been done regarding fracking because so much emphasis is being placed on making a quick buck for our troubled economies and in effect also maintaining the dominance of the gas and oil energy industries for as long as possible. More accurate impact studies are behind schedule regarding things like the massive amounts of clean water that are required, inadequate cleansing or storage of the used and polluted fracking waste water, methane and chemical gas discharged air pollution which contributes heavily toward climate change and has been shown to have poisonous effects on people and animals in some areas. I also think that part of the big rush in frackng is part of a race that the fossil fuel industries know that they will eventually loose as renewable energy technologies become more and more reliable alternatives. Many people are not acting rationally and with reason. It's all about what's in it for me and how soon can I get it?

Hagan backs drilling halt

ODNR downplays earthquake fracking connections? Kasich's original appointment as ODNR Chief, Davis Mustiine, had a long career as a representative for the oil and gas industry in both the U.S. and the middle east. Kasich moved Mustine to a newly created, heavily veiled, quasi government / business / energy group. Since then Kasich has been playing musical chairs with a variety of appointments to various ODNR management positions. Looks like the definition of "shifty" to me.

Government Watch: The public sector needs fixing

What americans really need way more than a public eyeballing of the wages of a school teacher, janitor, police officer, etc. is a regular and ongoing public reporting of corporate management wages & benefits, political lobbying expenses and contributions, corporate influences on legislators and legislation and amounts of corporate tax breaks and tax avoidance that corporations are favored with. The collective wages and benefits of janitors, teachers etc. have never brought a nation to it's knees, instead, the corrupting influence of immense wealth and power on national government leaders and rulers have always had the greatest detrimental effect on the common people of any nation or society. Todd Franko is an obfuscating corporate Toad. Whatever his reward is for doing this it doesn't serve truth, history or the best interests of the community very well.

Collective thoughts of a taxpayer

Wealth, Income and Power
The following link presents details on the wealth and income distributions in the United States, and explains how we use these two distributions as power indicators.

http://sociology.ucsc.edu/whorulesame...

"...Some of the information may come as a surprise to many people. In fact, I know it will be a surprise and then some, because of a recent study (Norton & Ariely, 2010) showing that most Americans (high income or low income, female or male, young or old, Republican or Democrat) have no idea just how concentrated the wealth distribution actually is...."

Wake up America.

Collective thoughts of a taxpayer

Franko, (Quote);..."Sorry. You’ll have to endure a little more concessions.
We promise not to ask you to go back to the standard of pay and benefits of the ’60s and ’70s, which concerns some of you..."

Wake up and pay attention.
That's exactly what you and other anti union clan are asking for Mr. Franko. The standard labor class pay rates and benefits of the 60's and 70's WERE BETTER than they are today relative to costs of living, ESPECIALLY AMONG UNION EMPLOYEES. As union membership has declined in the U.S. so too have income levels relative to living costs for most middle and labor class Americans..

Wake up and pay attention to what's really going on in America Mr. Franko.
