I bet you never thought you would read about me writing something negative about the Mayor, well here goes......
I do believe that there were some back hand dealings going on with Bryan and the Mayor for his son to get a job on the force. From what I see if they allow the civil service test his son is in line to get the job as a full time officer. True or not I dont know but I disagree with this move from the Mayor, it looks fishy to me. Thats the only negative remark I will make. Im not saying the Mayor is corrupt but it sure looks like he had to do this to get on the small good side of Bryan. This just goes to show you that it looks like council and yes even Bryan is out for themselves and their family when it comes to the city.
He also said he is thank full for all his supporters and as you guys call them the "Kool-Aid drinker" but in this matter he feels that he messed up, and he is extremely sorry. He intends to apologize to the citizens of Campbell and he stated he will be doing so on a personal and individual basis as he sees us.
I will not defend him nor do I agree with drinking and driving I believe he was wroung in this matter.
I spoke with the Mayor on saturday afternoon, he stated the law is the law, he intends to not fight this matter and would like to just take his punishment and move on by focusing on the city.
The only reason a "not guilty plea" was made is because his attorney recommended it and his attorney wanted time to speak with him. The Mayor openly admitts to having 2 Martinis, does not deny it nor will, he was truely shocked that he would have been over which is why he said let this be a lesson. He has said he did not think the amount of liquor in the martinis would have put him over the limit. His mistake.........
He has no excuse and he said he is only sorry for the negative light this is shedding on Campbell because this was his own actions and was not anything related to the city business.
Last I feel if all of you cared about the light this is shedding on Campbell we should make our comments to the Mayor at his town hall meeting. Now I also feel that he should not have created this problem and so does he. Lets not air our laundry anymore on the blogs. We need to stop this and we do need to stay off the blogs. Again my personal feeling.... we have enought publicity with out us the citizens making it worse.

Second I was not on vacation which tells me you assume I am his secretary. I have said time and time again. I am not who you keep saying I am. Please come to that realization.
Wow a joke? Then who deserves the credit. That Krinos guy has said constantly that the Senator and Bob Carcelli are the 2 main reasons this was able to happen. Well if you ask me and from what Krinos has said they all are getting the credit.
I only hope this provides some proof to the "non kool aid drinkers" that Krinos has the ability and the know how to change the city. He has been working on several businesses and this being one that he started before being elected and while in office only seven months has accomplished more then the previous mayor and this council which they were there for 10+ years. Way to go Krinos. Maybe this will show council that Krinos just might be right in saying Miles can't do the job as finance director.
If you read the election manual krinos talked about using grants to get businesses into the city. He also said before he was elected that he was working on not just one but several large businesses. This is just one of the businesses. That is why he has continually said that he would like to give the land on wilson ave away to developers of course with stipulations this also was in his election manual.
Please stop picking on the mayor about the fire fighter, the mayor only did it because he does believe saftey is the number one priority.
Did you know that before the mayor recalled that guy we only had one fireman on duty for a shift which is 24hrs. To some of you who dont understand this that fireman is not allowed to enter you house by himself, so if you home was on fire and you were stuck upstairs the fireman could not come in and get you out or help you other then spray water. The law requires 1 in and 1 out on a fire scene, now with the other guy there you have 2 per shift the way the schedule was done.
Next it was a step to also help your insurance rating decrease for your home owners.
Council and Jack ignored this warning from ISO and now everyones home owners insurance is going to go up 50% to 100%. Mayor Krinos had nothing to do with this council and Jack Dill have been being warned since 2006 that this would happen if they didnt staff the fire department and fix the trucks properly. For those of you who read this and your rates havent gone up, even if you call you agent they dont know the amount until you renew.
Let me see, pay double the home owner insurance cose and loose the police and fire department, or pay 270.00 per year and get my home owners insurance decreased and get police and fire protection. I will be happy to pay the 5 mill levy even more that I think about it.
There was a total of 3.3 million dollar carry over that includes the 750k in the general, someone in a previous post said 600k, the actual is about 750k.
The mayor has gone to the treasurer and to other higher officials to try to find out why we are in fiscal emergency. The Mayor says the answer is always the same, they are not sure? The mayor feels we should not be in fiscal emergency and also so do these officials he talks with but for some reason Paul Marshal says we are and should be.
The only reason why the mayor is even supporting the levy is because council and mr miles want to eliminate the police and fire departments. If this levy dosnt pass the police will be gone as of december the way mr miles is talking.
Did anyone know the city pays almost 40k a year to have Paul Marshal oversee the cities finances and tell us we are broke.

FYI the city still pays for the CETA kids. Its a summer job program.
Besides if the levy passes all the streets get repaved next year. That to me is worth the 270.00 I will have to pay just in wear and tear on my car.
