Just wondering if you have to pay to use Austintowns dog park. Im a Boardman resident who contributed to the dog park by taking my dogs to the indoor dog park to raise money for the building of the park. Then they charge you 50-60 a year to maintain it. Whats to maintain a few water fountains that are hardly used, there is no grass cutting maintenance. What they are paying for a secretarial person to collect the money. If its part of the park shouldnt our Taxes go towards the dog park too. I have gone to many areas around this country and No WHERE do they charge the people to use a public dog park....Only in Boardman....

Let us not forget Mr.Boardman Bernie Kosar or the Debacle of Mr Edward J. DeBartolo Jr. the list could go on forever. Its sad all these people let fame and power ruin their reputations. All a man really has is the name his Father gave him.

While it is true this years seniors were part, of last years team, they are this years team and last years team should not be the focus of every interview. This years seniors didnt get the recognition they deserved as being part of last years TEAM. It is a team sport and three doesnt make a team. Good Luck Lady Rockets as you go into the tournaments.

Im not from either city that played im just stating that every article written about Lowellvilles 2013 team has been about last years team. I feel this years team has proven they are a team that can hold their own in their division, this is true as they won the TCL. Also remember Canfield is Div 2 and Lowellville is Div 4. I feel this team who wasnt given any chance should be built up for what they have accomplished and not constantly compared to 2012s team.

Seems the coach is the one who doesnt have confidence in this years team considering every article written this year has either been about himself and his.health or last.years girls. Those girls.are gone give this years team the praise they deserve without mention of girls from the past.

Its great that both of these men are healthy and are back doing what they love to do, but could they please quit referencing last years lady rockets. Those girls did well but lets give this years girls the Praise they deserve. THEY have played and won this year on their own merit. It reallrls did well but lets give this years girls the Praise they deserve. THEY have played and won this year on their own merit. It really is a weight and they have proven they are the Champions of their league.

I think this is a great idea, I saw this on the national news about another area doing it and thought maybe we could get back to helping our neighbors..We need to save the " Little man" as Alan Jackson so greatly states it in his song.

I just want to say Thank you to whom ever is setting this concert up. I have a son who is now 26 and also has CF, I thank you for continuing the work of funding for a cure or for patient care, it is greatly needed now that these young people are living longer and longer lives and the govt doesnt want to help adults with genetic disorders or preexisting illness. Im sorry for the loss of Niki, God Bless her and your families...

First I want to say How sad I am for the family of the young man shot to death. I pray that they find comfort in his life and the memories they have. Second I am sick of everyone always putting down the Suburbs, Crime happens everywhere and just because we live in the suburbs it doesnt make us better, we are just trying to get better educations for our children, better housing for our families and why should we be put down for that. I love the city of Youngstown and I dont fear walking around downtown, I have more fear walking around Boardman Walmart and its parking lots. No place is safe, this was a group of young people having a party on a Saturday night, it goes on in every city and every college, this should not happen no matter where it was located, So city or suburb lets remember the real issue, this young man lost his life and it was senseless

My heartfelt condolences go out to the Serich family, I know both parents from growing up in Struthers, good people. I am so deeply saddened by this. Also to the Hart family I know that young man was so loved and wanted by his family, I remember the day they adopted him and brought him home to Boardman. Please keep both families in your prayers and I pray that those two young men found peace that they could not find here. Suicide is something that no one will ever understand,or make any sense of....May two more stars shine in the heavens tonight.
