Driver shot by cop in struggle

Well as long as it is official. Thanks for your opinion.
I think it takes an idiot to think that the police can competently police themselves, is it so hard to believe that a cop would lie to cover up his actions?
I really want to hear Cory's side of the story. I think I will pay a visit to the bar and see if I can talk to any witnesses, maybe they will back up the cop, maybe not.
You seem to forget that the altercation began with him trying to give a citizen an order. I know there is a noise ordinance, but the fact remains that Cory wasn't hurting anybody with loud music. Don't cops have more important things to worry about? It is funny (and seems a bit crazy) to me that you can sleep well at night while our brave men and women are fighting unjustified wars but can't sleep with loud music coming from a night club parking lot. Seriously, that cop needs to get his priorities strait. Loud music in a night club parking lot, what a crime. Yup that is what our country was founded on, following orders from a government official. I'll say it again, you guys are sadists.

You know a good doc, MLC75? I don't think any psychiatrist will be able to help me accept the condition/direction of our country/state/city. I'll say it again, I might be crazy but not half as crazy as people who ignore the Golden Rule.

Ha ha! I lied just like cops do in their reports. (About not posting again)

You wanted proof that Cheney and Bush are ware criminals- This story displays it better than I could write it. Should I obey direct orders from the VP or Pres without question the way you seem to think I should cops? The answer is No, as just because someone is given power does not make them automatically justified in using it (which is obviously the case with Chance.)

Hey Rokscout: Do you seriously think we have justification to invade Iran? For trying to make nuclear weapons? Like the ones we MAKE HERE? I would say I'm not the crazy one here but Lifes2short with copy my post and say "yes you are" If waterboarding is ok then you guys would have no problem with them doing it to our soldiers, RIGHT???

And one more thing, Lifes2short: Didn't you note the SARCASM in my post, you really are as dense as a redwood. I might be a little crazy, but not in comparison to you.

I am also glad officer Chance has been cleared of wrong doing. I am so glad I can sleep at night without all these punk kids playing their damn loud stereos at night. Freaking punks need to do what they are told and obey. Weather it is Teachers, Cops, Judges, Preachers, they need to do what they are ordered without question. Questioning authority has NO place in America. That is not what our country was founded on. It is so pathetic that citizens do not listen to orders from cops, especially these punk kids. That kid deserves to die for not doing what he was told.

Is this post better guys??? Is this what a citizen should think? Does it make me sound less CRAZY??!?!?!?!?!?! Yeah guys take a look at the condition this country is in and tell me I'm the one that is crazy. I suppose it is all the fault of us young punks. Yeah we have been voting for a long time.

"I've been told with old age comes wisdom, but I've found with old age comes.... OLD AGE." (sage francis) Cops today (or at least as long as I have been alive) do not behave in a manner that deserves respect. All you freedom haters can rejoice as I will stop posting. I have bigger plans and better things to do with my time.

JME: Threaten anyone that address me. Granted it is a completely meaningless threat, but that shows your mindset. Throw all the penalty flag you want buddy.

To Pens: Post #208
Lifes2shirt: You will never hear me say that cops (or security) are not necessary or that cops do not do many, many good things. However that does not justify all the wrong they do and the laws they break. There is something SERIOUSLY wrong with our justice system (I will bring up the statistics regarding our prison population again) and police are an integral cog in the machine.
I actually think quite often about moving to Iran so I can help them defend themselves when we invade them. Go ahead tell me how much worse my life would be in Iran, I already know.
I am also not saying that what terrorists from other countries do is right, but we cannot keep using their evil actions to justify our own. We are supposed to be better than that.

I'm a nut case? I'm not the one shooting people, or defending such violent actions. I would rather be a hippie nut case than a sadist. You have to be a little bit crazy to think you have the right to shoot someone for non violent crimes.
I can already hear you talking about how he "used his car as a weapon", but as I said, I believe the person who said the cop tried to drag him out of the car for not turning down his radio.

I believe the witness reports over the police reports and it is relevant to this case because we are allowing (not that this is anything new) police to behave like terrorists.

Correction: In this story, there is nothing showing that the security guards were cops, but they could have been, so save your semantics. Hope you get the point. This type of thing cannot be allowed to happen, but it does far too often. These security guards belong in prison. I am still waiting for you guys to show me where Cory broke other laws besides the noise ordinance.
