I was afraid people would misinterpet that. No from the entire context it means exactly that. A Beast (animal) for a beast (animal).People in Bible times had cherished pets like we do today. Many of them had dogs and some of them had sheep as their special pets. The Bible is from God. Not man's opinion based on the time. God does not change. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. God never changes. God's mind on this subject then is still His mind today. God values human's much higher than animals. Maybe if we were less abusive, verbally and physically, to one another as humans we would be less abusive to animals.
