ads - I totally agree. This dog park isn't hurting anyone in the area, if you don't want to help or use the park, then don't. It is an asset to the community.
hope - if you read the article, Loree "emphasized that a dog park would not be built or maintained using taxpayer dollars." The park will be built soley on donations and fundraising money. The tax payers will not be affected by the park. I agree, we are taxed enough.
Native - each person has different priorities. I have two dogs who are my children. It is makes me very happy to take them places to play, run and have fun with other dogs. If the Boardman area had absolutely no playgrounds or parks for children to play, would you be against putting a playground in too? Would that be a bad priority to have?
This group is trying to bring something good to this community. I, and so many others, really hope this works.
