Ok people here we go again, once again you cant see the truth because of the white pillowcases over you faces, crime is just not in the black race and in Youngstown, the twelve year old that put a shot gun to his pregnant step moms head and killed her, white, the young man that ran over a man and drug his body underneath the car from a nightclub up to Mc Donalds and across Midlothian Ave, white, the youth that burned down a house in Youngstown killing a whole family, white, the Boardman policemen taking advantage of underage drunk females, at the Blue Wolf Sports Bar, white,is crime worse when its committed by blacks? GET REAL!!! CRIME IS CRIME.

Wow, i cant believe these comments, uproar about juvenile crime in Youngstown but its ok to have brothels in Austintown, crime is crime people, wake up.

Ok people lets get something cleared up right now, not all of the black youth in Youngstown are gangsters and thugs, in fact the pecentage of youth portrayed in crimes is minimal compared to all the youth that are going to school and doing positive things in their community. I will be the first to admit that Youngstown does have some juveniles that need serious help, but for that matter, so does Boardman, Austintown, Canfield, and guess what? Poland too. The only difference between the kids in Youngstown and these other townships is that Youngstown crimes get REPORTED by police. These other communitys have crimes that get taking care of at the station or a call to a parent who comes and picks up their little bundles of joy after, getting caught with drugs, vandalism, shop lifting, underage drinking, breaking and entering, and oh yes, even assaults. So please lets not make this issue that the kids in Youngstown are the Anti-Christ, im not buying it, look in your own backyards the same thing is going on. And as for the rap and hip hop music, its a known fact that more white kids are listening to and buying the music than african american kids. I would be willing to bet that if you search some of your kids rooms you would find that out. So instead of being judgemental, try to understand that a few bad apples dont spoil the whole bunch. Their are alot of great role models in the black community and if some of you crawl out of your hole, you would know that.

Back in the day when the mob ran Youngstown, there was a white mayor and a white police chief and there was white on white crime. i wonder did anyone call for the heads of the mayor and police chief because they were white? Crime is crime no matter what color the Mayor or Police Chief is.

Hey Grump, I told you this would happen. Now that Austintown has opened up the floodgates to it's school system the J.E.D. seems like a good ideal now. How does it feel Grump? I guess Austintown is no better than any other cash strapped district needing money and they will do whatever it takes to get it, including open enrollment.

Face it Grump, sooner or later Austintown has to drink the koolade. Austintown will not survive for long without donig the same thing that Girard is doing with Youngstown. You have to pool your resources. Tell me what will happen when open enrollment happens because their is no money left in the school system. Youngstown passed their levy, things are on the right track. Austintown will be strapped for cash soon,and what happens then? The JEDD is looking better and better isnt it Grump?

Seems to me that the people in Austintown may be in denial.They should look at what Girard is doing with Youngstown and climb aboard the JEDD Train, ALL ABOARD!! next stop Boardman. Hey Old Man GRUMP! HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT THAT? First Austintown votes down the school levy and now this, say it isnt so.

Well now, it looks as if good old Austintown will soon be in need of a JEDD after all. I guess they better look at what the city of Girard is doing with Youngstown and climb aboard the JEDD train with Youngstown. Next stop, Boardman, ALL ABOARD !!!
