Hey Grump, I told you this would happen. Now that Austintown has opened up the floodgates to it's school system the J.E.D. seems like a good ideal now. How does it feel Grump? I guess Austintown is no better than any other cash strapped district needing money and they will do whatever it takes to get it, including open enrollment.
Face it Grump, sooner or later Austintown has to drink the koolade. Austintown will not survive for long without donig the same thing that Girard is doing with Youngstown. You have to pool your resources. Tell me what will happen when open enrollment happens because their is no money left in the school system. Youngstown passed their levy, things are on the right track. Austintown will be strapped for cash soon, and what happens then? The JEDD is looking better and better isnt it Grump?
Seems to me that the people in Austintown may be in denial. They should look at what Girard is doing with Youngstown and climb aboard the JEDD Train, ALL ABOARD!! next stop Boardman. Hey Old Man GRUMP! HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT THAT? First Austintown votes down the school levy and now this, say it isnt so.
Well now, it looks as if good old Austintown will soon be in need of a JEDD after all. I guess they better look at what the city of Girard is doing with Youngstown and climb aboard the JEDD train with Youngstown. Next stop, Boardman, ALL ABOARD !!!
Once again Old Man Grump has shown how ignorant of the facts he can be through his comments which seem to be nothing but incompetent rants and raves. Most African American Family's have two parents and are doing just as well as any other family. Is their still work to be done? yes there is, but most African American males are in the home raising their children and stressing education like any other hard working American. The fact that these O.G.T. tests seem to be misleading is because this system of testing is outdated and should be changed according to the times we live in now. Every childs life experience is different, just like there are different cultures. The bridge is being gapped but there is still more to be done. African American children continue to improve on test scores and more are enrolling in college, whether it is single parent households or not.
These two juveniles should be punished to the furthest extent of the law because what they did was horrendous. However it's hard for me to believe that someone who is seventeen years old and involved in home invasions would have enough knowledge to know that Boardman Township is facing million dollar budget cuts. I guess everyone in Boardman will now race to the polls to pass that Police and Fireman levy. Once again Youngstown is used as the boogieman to get a levy passed in the suburbs.
What is going on in Boardman? First you have a police officer and his partner engaging in illegal acts with a minor female and now you have a teacher trying to do the same. if you have a seventeen year old daughter in Boardman, i guess you better keep an eye on her.
What's going on in Boardman? It seems like it's either some teacher or a law enforcement type trying to date a seventeen year old girl. People in Boardman should keep an eye on the daughters.
This makes you wonder what Wellington is scared of. If David Aey is not qualified the voters of Mahoning County will make that decision for themselves. This makes me question whether Wellington is on the up and up, or just another official that wants to keep his cushy job that the tax payers are paying for.
