Officials to seek help on airport goals

The yo. airport story makes me upset because i have always been the type of person that likes to use local business' and i want to see them succeed. Well i always try to use the yo. airport when possible. On May 1, i was returning from a junket from Atlantic city with my father (he is 84) and his wife, our plane landed about 9:30 p.m. and we proceded to leave the plane and get our luggage and get home, as we were all exhausted. When we arrived at the parking lot and realized our car would not start, the battery was dead. I went to the people that operated the junket, aswell as a few men that had been on the flight with us but to no avail received no help. I went into the terminal asking a young man behind the counter if they could help us, he ask another young man and they both explained that they had no way to jump our car. The maintence garage was closed and the security was gone so one man offerd to call AAA for me and i informed him we were not members but he said he was, so the other man called Vienna police and they of course did not answer because it was sunday nite. When i commented it's a good thing we don't need a police officer i was told "that's what happens out here in the sticks!:" Finally AAA offered to send a tow truck and asked for my member # when i said "I m not a member" the lady asked to talk to the young man behind the counter and i heard him say "they can't use my member # i don't even know her!" well by now i was getting very upset, it was almost 10:30 and everyone was leaving so when an older man came to ask was going on i informed him and he informed me he could not help because they had to "close the terminal" so i went back out the Parking Lot (no security, bad lighting, and of course no secure fencing) as we stood and watched all the men get in their cars and go home!! finally my father got his insurance company on the cellphone and they offered to send a tow truck. We waited until 11:45 and of course 2 tow trucks showed up to help (we landed at 9:30). The tow truck drivers were wonderful the one from miller's in liberity(?) sat on the side lines(from AAA) to make sure the car started while the driver from my father's insurance co.(tow truck from Girard) got the car started.
Do i recommend Yo. airport now? No way. We were charged $18.00 for parking and it sure was not secure!!! Thank God this story had a happy ending but i will tell you if my son, grandson or whoever just walked away from an elderly couple and a woman with car trouble, in the middle of nowhere at night in a VERY DARK AND LONELY PARKING LOT "IN THE STICKS" i would like to know why? I did call the airport and talked to a woman she took all my personal info and my story and i have yet to hear from anyone at Yo. airport. Would i like to see the airport do better and get more flights? Yes BUT not until they get better security!!!!!!!
