I guess we know who is going to get the job even though city employees were told that they can't not put signs in their yard at election. The one applicant had his sign front and center in his yard. Yeah Mayor keep telling yourself and everyone else your trying to change how things work.
Yes good point law director, not! Maybe if it was your son-in-law you would stand up for jackson like you did him, even after he wrecked city truck, called off as much as he wanted, took a so called f,.m.l.a. for god knows what, because he was in worse condition when he came back to work after 3 months, i can go on and on. administration sure did try and help him when employees were suffering, but soon as they felt slighted the hammer came down. they just dont care if your a good worker, it pays to be irresposbile. jackson should have called off at least once a week, used drugs and came late all the time, i bet you he would still be employeed by the city
ya dont throw in the towel mayor vansuch...thats real good...rah! rah! rah! what you should do is throw in the towel on your campaign...you, administration and council have sucked the money, life and benefits out of the city of campbell long enough.
ITS ALL A BUNCH OF BS---WHEN ELECTIONS COME AND ADMINISTRATION GETS VOTED OUT---GET THE MESSAGE YOUR ARE NOT WELCOME HERE ANYMORE---WE DONT WANT TO SEE YOUR FACES---YOU SUCKED UP ENOUGH BENEFITS AND PERS TIME. ALL YOU DID WAS STICK IT TO THE CITIZENS AND THE WORKERS OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!!!!
i stongly agree on all your points, Jackson is certified to do his job and has never called off once since he was hired. Its personal plain and simple. I guess the more responsible an employee you are the harder they are on you. If he had a ton of personal problems and was a detriment to his job the current administration would try like hell to keep him.
Just like the article reads water bill also includes garbage pickup, storm-water management and sewer bills. So if you just look at the water charge on any customers bill and compare it to surrounding cities(the size of Campbell), it is close or even lower then most surrounding cities. The bigger cities of course can charge lower rates because they have more customers however, Campbell water rates are very competative with those rates. As far as the water being not able to drink, the water treatment plant has come a long way over the past several years. Used to be ran by people who didn't even have EPA licenses or even certified to run tests on water. Now it has certified personel who actually care and try to do the best the can with what they have to work with. For those not living in Campbell, its none of your business how much the water is here or what goes on here, save your comments for your own city. The article is wrong about when the shut off program last took place, it was early this year not 2009. The department did a great job in shutting off water and collecting the majority of the unpaid bills. So 200,000 in delinquencies sounds like it is way off the mark. Starmack needs to quit meeting with certain Campbell employees and get both sides of the story. She needs to quit writing negative about Campbell

Firing a Campbell water worker wasn’t in city’s best interest
