BlossomB, I'm not a vet tech, I'm a vet. And you can't save every animal. If you have cats positive for feline leukemia, aids, or FIP in your shelter, then you risk the lives of all other animals there. These are UNCURABLE CONTAGIOUS feline diseases that will eventually be lethal to the cats that contract them. Unfortunately there is not even an accurate way to diagnose FIP until the cat has become so ill it needs euthanized. Sadly, there are not enough homes for all the homeless pets. By not focusing your resources on severely debilitated animals, you can save more lives total.
I work at a local vet clinic & we've seen many problems from the Cat Ladies Society. They should spend their resources only on reasonably salvagable animals and focus on keeping the healthy ones healthy. It's inhumane to have a no-kill policy...you should see the suffering it ends.
“My house smells like a funeral parlor. ... all those flowers. Even my cat is upset.”
Does this make sense to anyone? Fine journalism we have here....

Lots of Llamas
Hey doesn't the lady in the video look Native American? I wonder if she's got some kind of 'connection' with the llamas. Interesting.
