My family strongly supports collective bargaining, public and private. Public employees have done nothing to deserve this treatment by the governor. We will be out there supporting you with our votes.

I'm having one of the best days of my life. I am getting ready to vote for Barack Obama for president of the United States of America.
No hater can rain on this lovely fall day when my country makes a significant step forward in electing an African-American man president.
I'm not black. I was a little white girl watching Martin Luther King on the news over 40 years ago, wanting the country he was talking about . . . where we judge each other fairly. And now, after years of struggle, the day is suddenly here, sooner than expected.
I awoke early this morning to a voice whispering in my ear "what happens to a dream deferred?" I smiled and thought . . . sometimes it comes true.
