Misappropriate use of his staff and educational funds is not poor judgement, it is criminal. This is what is wrong with so many things today. Fraudulent behavior is simply excused if it is discovered.
As dispiciable as what was done to these puppies is, it is just one case in what is way too many cases of animal abuse in Ohio. It seems until our legislature begins to listen to our pleas and enacts tougher laws, Ohio will continue to be seen as being much too tolerant of these criminals and animals will continue to be tortured and killed.
Step up Judge Douglas, this man hasn't learned a thing! He was let off easy and he can't even follow the rules of his probation. What he did is despicable, please give him the maximum for his parole violation. If he couldn't afford to care for dogs he was paid to care for, how is he caring for these dogs?
Nitro's Law needs to be passed. People who abuse animals are almost always involved in other criminal activity. Companion animals were bred by man to be our companions and are dependent on us. Because of this we should be more responsible to them and protect them by punishing those who harm them more strongly than we do!

"The ULTIMATE MEASURE of a MAN..."
Very disappointed in our legal system and Judge Douglas. His rationale is illogical and suspect!
