ELECTION UPDATE: This year, voters making time for TEA

Obama sat on his hands for the first two years of his presidency...sooo.. The dems lose control of the house...and perhaps it's for the best. Good job AMERICANS... The wake up call over this should make Obama and the dems realize they better put some real meat in the grinder and do something solidly meaningful and outstanding over the next two years. I think many of the newly elected TEA politicians will go along with Obama so we can get our country back on track. Together they MUST or we just might see a revolution !!! Let's see what happens. Keep a close eye on it all AMERICANS...let's make it work for all of us.

Traficant decries casino coverage

Most of the posts are by people who have zero knowledge about Indian Casino
development.
For now, let's forget the name Jim Traficant and refer to Jim as CCTTHTV...
(Concerned Citizen Trying To Help The Valley)
or easier to remember..just CC...
CC is trying to help the most depressed area in the country.. the Mahoning Valley. CC has laid the groundwork to bring in an Indian Tribe that is federally recognized in a USA state that has past Ohio credendials. (Do some research on how and why federally recognized Indian Tribes came to be...and why CC's Indian Tribes have a right to own land and develop an Indian Casino here in the Valley.)
What CC is telling everyone is he has laid the ground work to allow the development of this Casino here...and it is allowable and within the law. What he is telling you is FACTUAL!
So for a change...back off and let CC make this opportunity to help our valley in so many ways A REALITY!
Call our county commissioners and tell them to support this initiative. Call the Vindicator and radio and TV stations to get behind this initiative and help make it a reality. We have nothing else in proposal or on the drawig board that is going to help our horrifyig economic condition here in the Valley. We are not in a bargaining position to pick and choose. CC's Indian Casino Initiative is the only hope we have left...and most of you posters make fun of and redicule the effort. Shame, shame on everyone in the Valley who are a part of this CLOSE MINDED - STOP THIS INITIATIVE STANCE.

Our county commissioners are foolish to turn their backs on Jims initiative to develop an Indian Casino here. SOMETHING IS BETTER THAN NOTHING...I don't care who is responsible for creating it. Jim has the tools to get the job done...however...PLEASE don't let Cheverini try and sneak in the side door with his pie in the sky, fairy tale, incompetent 2 PARKS idea that he claims will compliment the Indian Casino initiative.
When Jim gets approval for the Indian Casino development, there will be many legitimate
investors and developers that will come to the area and build condos, and participating facilities that will compliment the Casino and create many, many new jobs and much needed revenue in addition to what the Indian Casino will create.

If Jim Traficant would decide to run again for a federal office, would you vote for him?

CUT THE B.S. ALREADY....Jim Traficant in congress is the valleys only
hope for an economic turn around. The voters in the 17th district better vote for him in November. Jim is our only salvation. WISE UP FOLKS...Jim is the only Congressman from this area that has really done anything worthwhile to help us...and HE CAN DO IT AGAIN!

I've been to the new Pittsburgh Rivers Casino twice now. No OTB
and many of the slots were out of order.. Few gambling tables operating with many players waiting to play. The 300 layoffs is highly exagerated...and those laid off was due to the unecessary over hiring to cover the grand opening. The casino is always busy and the tax dollars earned from the gamblers going to city, county and state will be plentiful and helpful to PA., not to mention the several thousand new jobs that were created.
There are thousands of people from this area still visiting W.VA, Pa, and other neighboring states to gamble that still await the development of a Casino here in the Youngstown area....and believe me...there will be (someday in the near future) a casino in the Youngstown area. Better NOW than later. Jim T is trying to make it happen NOW! I hope the members of the ROUND TABLE and all opposition to Casino Gambling are feeling sorry for those unemployed and partially unemployed and hurting financially because of the current economic demise here in the valley.
QUIT CRITICIZING THOSE WHO WANT TO HELP and want to prove to Bert S. new jobs through casinos IS NOT A FAIRY TALE!
