Eagle Heights vows to fight state order to close in 2010

Eagle Heights is full of resources that include dedicated and hardworking teachers. These teachers bust their you know whats every day educating students. However students aren't so concerned with learning when their personal lives are in turmoil. Many are traumatized emotionally and live with little structure. Eagle Heights is the only stable and safe place for many of them. Taking achievement tests is the last thing many of these students care about. Get real want to play the blame game then start with the community. It takes a community to raise a child with morals, respect and desire to learn. So if you want to close something down, close the community??? Crazy idea right, so is closing down EHA it serves a purpose. It nurtures young minds that Youngstown City Schools expel.
