Every holiday is a made up holiday. Muslims, Shintos, Jews, and Hindu don't give a crap about Cristmas.. My Jehovah's Witness family members don't celebrate Christmas at all. I guess that means that they have declared war on Xmas, a made up holiday.

Now, they COULD lower the tax rate ever so slightly but, I'm pretty sure they will keep showing us why so few businesses open up in Youngstown.

The senate could simply make cloture nothing more than a majority vote. they choose not to...

To put it another way, the problem isn't one that can be solved by protesting in front of a building or by voting everyone out of office. Since the lobbyists already know that you can only vote for the alternate, they just oil up whichever one is voted into office with copious amounts of money.
So long as the American voters have an representative form of government , then the American voters are screwed.

Good to see all of that south side crime making its way to the northern suburbs. Sigh. Mahoning and Trumbull counties are freakin doomed.

The March on Washington, Women's Suffrage, Vietnam War Protests and, the like all had a running theme of protesting a perceived injustice against a wronged group of Americans.
If the issues is the corruption that lobbying has allowed to seep into the government then shouldn't you be protesting in Washington D.C.? THEY are the ones screwing things up? Occupying Ytown, Or Canton, Or Cleveland seems to be aiming your frustration at the wrong people.

Dead shoppers and wrongful death cases are just a cost of doing business. They couldn't care less about anyone being injured or killed.

It could be worse. Over here is Stark County, we elected a Sheriff who promptly retired and then got rehired. Will this nonsense ever end?

Just because I voted against this tripe, doesn't mean that the public employees don't need to make some serious concessions. The state budget is balanced by mandate. Local school districts and municipalities are dying on the vine. There will be massive layoffs or massive concessions either way.

I don't think that this fella is any more innocent than Casey Anthony is of Murder. I still believe that it's better for a hundred guilty men to go free rather than an Innocent man be sent to jail.
