Why would anyone vote for a gambling casino in another town. All you are doing in supplying Cleveland, Columbus, Toledo, and Cincinnati money to pay their land taxes.

I have yet to hear what the governor is going to do with this money beside line his pockets.

I will not vote for it for a reason.

I used to work in Youngstown. I got let go by a company on the west side.

I qualified for unemployment, but got denied because the state said I did not make enough a week.

Anything this state government tries to shove down peoples throats I am against.

I am glad to hear that the Area on Aging is moving out of Youngstown.

At least they will not pay for the city"s over priced Income Tax!!

Not willl the workers or clients have to pay for over priced parking lots downtown!

More companies and bars need to move out.

Have you been on Mahoning Ave lately? Or Meridian Road North from Mahoning.
NO!
Buy a tank and try them.
There's not a street in Youngstown that does not need surfaced.
Now I wonder where all that city income tax money I pay out every year goes?

Before the state decides to try and improve the traffic flow on 224, it should repave 680 from all the way from one end to the other.
I know part of it is in Youngstown proper, but the administration in Youngstown will never spend the money to help fix 680. They won't fix their own streets.

Maybe WRTA needs to do what Pittsburgh did. The went to the County commissioners and city council and had a tax put on drinks in bars. The bus company was going under, so all the money on drinks went to them. It took a year or more, but the bus company is in the black. Last I heard, they were going to repeal the tax because the company is on its feet. Their bus company goes out of the county all the way th New Castle.

What is the problem? The Mayor does not like the truth about this town. It has the highest crime, the worst roads, and it is very noisy. I have seen dirt roads in better shape than this town.
I am moving out of this town to Boardman because of the mess in this town.

I am also tired of paying taxes to make Williams a billionaire

I set here and read the comments about WRTA. OK. Don't vote for the levy. While your at it, let's get rid of Greyhound, Amtrak, bicycles, and all other forms of transportation except cars. OH yes, this include getting rid of Motorcycles, ATV's, boats, etc.

Let's hope you will never get old and need public transportation or want to take a trip somewhere.

I read in this paper about how the city should take over the busses. FUNNY! This city will not fix their roads. I ride the busses. The problem is, the drivers will not take a pay cut to help out. They run late, their rude. They don't care about the riders.

If this county wanted to help the bus service, then do like Pittsburgh did. They taxed the drinks people take at the bars and gave it to the busses.

I ride the WRTA every day to work and back. If the levy fails it is not only the drivers out of a job, so are the mechanics, office personel, and possibly a lot of people who can not get to work. They have a donut shop at the terminal which will close putting workers out of jobs.

The city of Youngstown will not take in anymore money to make Mayor Williams a millionare. No busses, no jobs. The city is always saying the want to help businesses, so why isn't the city helping?
