Welcome to the U.S., friends. Glad to have you.

This sounds like a great event that brought people together for a good cause. Glad it happened.

Voter fraud is not a major problem in Ohio or anywhere in the U.S. This is nothing more than voter suppression performed during a ho-hum time of political disinterest.

This is a great decision to coordinate with Planned Parenthood. As you can see from the comments in here some still like to demonize the organization but Mahoning County is better off by helping people get access to medical and reproductive services they need.

I really enjoyed this article and thank the writer for putting it together.
Most of the comments above illustrate precisely what Miss Akins said in her remarks- that there are nothing but weak arguments against gay marriage. I hope Kelly and Kelly are having a wonderful life with their daughter. Gay marriage will soon be legal at the national level to bring the country to a better, moral place.

Obama made a good decision on this one. America is a melting pot of cultures and for years our immigration system has not properly reflected that.

Bumbling comments above display the sad cynicism of those that know nothing about Obamacare.
The law is doing quite well at getting people insurance that they can afford and provides a strong coverage network. Cost of insurance has actually declined in many areas for the exchanges this year and the result of covering the uninsured means less people using the emergency room as a doctor.
It will be even better when we have a system akin to Canada's or the U.K.'s.

Rick, there should be a diacritic over that "e" in touché. Between that and getting taken to task by Skolnick in this very comments section you've got two strikes, my friend. Additionally, none can defeat Skolnick on his own website. Let that be a lesson to the rest of you.

Some good fact-checking in this reporting. The Tribune screwed up one of the addresses for the July robbery in Warren.

I'd say that posting findings about voting when it's from the mouth of the Columbus Dispatch is not a good idea. They're pro-Republican and have a tendency to skew their coverage that way.
"Numbers reported by The Columbus Dispatch showed that turnout in the 2012 race — when Ohioans arguably had the most opportunities in state history to vote early...."
That is a lie. With Jon Husted in office the barriers were up at full force in 2012 so the Associated Press- or the Vindicator supporting their claim by running this piece- are absolutely off-base on that claim. Does the Vindicator not remember Husted being taken to court over his behavior on the doorstep of the November election in 2012? He had to get called back into Judge Marbley's court before he would comply!
This was an article that begged to be fact-checked, not reposted.
