I feel the same way as dg4242 in his posting #7 today. As dg4242 stated, I also read the original report and listened to the recorded telephone call to YPD dispatch. The facts as reported by and called into police dispatch by Chance just don't add-up. The written report appears to be well detailed to cover his story but not to the point that logically makes sense. Hopefully, these upcoming internal investigations, with the help of the witnesses on the scene, will expose exactly what appears to be a cover-up by Chance and his fellow cops to justify his shooting that could have possibly been handled another way by all involved. I'm sure that Chance is a good cop but it appears that maybe he got carried away and over-reacted in this particular situation.
Is it any surprise that a no morals lawyer like Bernard would be romantically involved and actually live with a convicted felon like Phil Chance? This isn't the same Elizabeth Bernard that is considering running for judge is it?
