Not to mention you will have to pay more, no matter where you shop since Kmart is beneath you, for anything you buy. Remember the Home Depot hoopla? People were outraged that the thief was allowed to walk out and an employee direct for interfering. Can't have it both ways.
Maybe the reason they don't ask for more is because they are honest people and only looking to pay their son's medical bills, not get rich as in other cases. Good for them and I hope they get what they are looking for as well as funds for continued treatments as necessary as this child deals with the trauma.
When the Vindy stops reporting hit-skip accidents caused by intoxication, no matter who the guilty party (or alleged guilty party) is and something like this happens to you who criticize that this is not news you would wonder why it was never reported. Unbelievable.

Driving is a privilege, not a right. If you plan on drinking and driving and get caught up in a checkpoint, stands to reason you will lose your privilege. Now if the cops kick your ass because you are a beligerent drunk, then yes, maybe your rights would be violated.
