Organization offers treatment scholarship to heroin addict who asked for jail sentence

dontbeafool, Wonder how much incentive these kids doing all the right things in and out of school are going to have when they find out that their job out of college is going to help support the "kids" that didn't do all the right things in and out of school. Equality. Just depends on what side of equality you're on.

Charter schools’ overseer resigns; probe demanded

As we have pointed out on numerous occasions in this space, Republicans in the Ohio General Assembly cannot be trusted to objectively deal with any problems relating to charter schools because they are politically indebted to the private operators. Republican candidates have received millions of dollars over the years from the charter school industry.
Is this anything like that the democrats are politically indebted to the teachers union? Democrats have received millions of dollars from the teachers union. So we can trust the democrats to put the children's best interests over the teachers best interests?

Report: 23 percent of Ohio children living in poverty

Jerry, very good. You can give all the government money (our taxes) you want to those families, and there still would be close to 23% living in poverty. Government money as your income doesn't lift anyone out of poverty.

Locals react to gay-marriage decision

I'm pretty sure most of us have heard of NAMBLA. They have been trying for a long time to get their way,as sick as that might be. Someday when they cause enough commotion and get the right people in office and a majority of Justices that agree with them, they'll get what they so longed for and believe it's their right to be with whom they want. Might take twenty years, but just like the LGBT's, they'll wear the opposition down and get politicians to sympathize with their cause. This is the way it works in America now a days. Minorities are now the majorities.

Silence_Dogood, Legitimate questions. Where does one draw the line? Cause enough problems for a long enough time and anything goes.

For the most part when Cambridge joins the discussion I drop out. He's just a s**t stirrer. Never contributes anything worthwhile and never a solution. I'm still waiting on an answer from him on another subject a couple of days age in which he injected himself into. Easy question, obviously he had no answer.
