Proposed hiring of Moliterno triggers more port authority controversy

Listener must have been the one that was drunk to make a statement that is obviously a total fallacy. Validate your statement about Moliterno with a place and date.

Coast Guard: BP let 9 to 18 barrels of oil in lake

These spills seem to be happening more frequently and these oil companies are not being held accountable. Exxon and BP have yet to satisfy claims from thier spills in Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico. Is there a conspiracy between big oil and certain powers that be?

New Coitsville cruiser heavily damaged in chase in Youngstown

No, YoungstownBornRaised, I just happen to have a little insight into the situation there. All of a sudden the "cover up" is on. Why can't the Vindy or other agencies get a response to their Public Records requests from YPD or Coitsville PD? Why is there no mention of the other driver and what injuries they sustained? Go thru Coitsville 5 mi over the speed limit and you'll see what I mean. There's a small strip of land on 422 that borders Campbell and Youngstown right at the top of the Oak Street bridge that Coitsville PD sets up a "speed trap". No Coitsville businesses or residents are situated there,,,,,WHY does Coitsville PD set up radar there?

New Coitsville cruiser heavily damaged in chase in Youngstown

The Morris brothers think that Coitsville is Hazard County, Ky and they are Boss Hogg and co. Lansdowne & McGuffy? Was there a request for assistance from Campbell PD, Youngstown PD, Mahoning County Sheriff, OSHP? Way too much ego on the Coitsville PD. Even the other Departments resent them. How fast was he going in city limits to total this cruiser? Is a high speed pursuit through an adjoining jurisdiction necessary within city limits for a suspected stolen car? Another case of a police officer overstepping his limits and acting irresponsibly and posing a danger to the public. I avoid driving thru Coitsville and Poland these days.

Youngstown mail processing and distribution facility to close in February

The employees of the Youngstown processing center are heads and shoulders above those at Cleveland and Pittsburgh. I have dealt with all three facilities for nearly 20 yrs. and Youngstown professionalism, courtesy, and "going the extra mile" are the norm not the exception.

Ohio county fears high costs of trials in septic-tank slaying

So, let's get this straight. Harrison County has NO PROBLEM prosecuting DUI/OVI, TRAFFIC TIX, etc; because these type of cases create revenue plus they have no problem setting up DUI/OVI checkpoints paying tremendous overtime. However they cannot prosecute a MURDER case because of the cost! B__L S__T! The revenue generated from the college kid's cases alone should be more than sufficient to prosecute this.

Four parents apologize for Mooney cigars and champagne

Supplying alcohol and tobacco to minors is a crime. Why are these criminals exempt from prosecution? Would the same result happen if this ocurred at East, Struthers, Boardman., or Campbell High Schools.......NOT! Another example of our legal double standard. A food store owner that works 80+ hours a week would be arrested and fined for selling a pack of cigarettes or beer to these same students....more political BS!

ODNR still unsure of D&L well’s tie to Valley earthquakes

ODNR....a bunch of wannabe super cops. Let's take some of these guys that harass recreational boaters in the Summer and put them to work in the winter to do their job! Earthquakes did not start until well was pressure injected. 2+2=4. Common sense...or did the right palms get greased?

Support for Paterno ‘eroding’

Hey Hella!
Do you EVER make a positive comment about ANYTHING? I took a look at all your previous posts. You really have to be a miserable person. TURNING AWAY from a heinous crime and not doing anything about it is a crime. If Paterno had followed up on this when it happened, there would not have been any subsequent molestation events by Sandusky. Whose life did Tressel and Carroll ruin? (maybe yours) You would probably walk away from a child being raped yourself but would be the first to complain about the lack of police protection.

Pit bull attacks dog, is killed by Campbell officer

Too many dogs of this type in Campbell. Owners have no insurance, no control, and simply do not care. It's "cool" to have a pit bull or rotweiler. If Mr. Smith had a loaded pistol and was brandishing it on Bright Ave, how intense would the response have been. The officer tried to not harm the attacking dog but finally had to shoot it....WHERE WAS THE OWNER? What if it was a child being attacked? These type of animals and their owners should be monitored very closely. No insurance......NO DOG! No control.....NO DOG! If you drive your car without a license, IT IS IMPOUNDED. What's the difference?
