No, what I was saying was that although they hunger striked they probably got a pretty nice meal after their antics... since things are sooo horrible there. Who cares, I thought all they ate in jail was bread and butter with water. If I were a victim's family hearing about some goofball who killed my beloved doing this, it would tick me off to the ultimate degree..
Probably their first meal after this hunger strike was better than what some children in Youngstown eat on a daily basis, if they even had a meal. I'd rather care about giving some "hope" to a child than a guy in prision serving a life sentence for aggravated murder. UGH!
You've got to be kidding me. The demands they are asking for (lower commissary prices, more rec time...) who owes you anything?!?!?!?! I understand that as humans you are to treat others with a level of respect and in this case, not like prisoners at a concentration camp, but they did the crime... pay the time. I agree with a statement above... a SUPERMAX is not a freekin Holiday Inn. Heck, I don't even complain about how expensive the gift shop pricing is at a hotel for a candy bar and I would like more recretation time for my hard work I put in at my job... BUT I'M NOT A CROOK.
I agree rickking... but people are free to say what they want to, even though they sound like a bunch of fools. Getting that far in any sport tournament takes a lot of hard work. Probably the people that are so bitter are lazy SOB's that have never spent their whole summer attending open gyms, hitting the weight room 5-6 days a week, shooting hundreds of free throws icing aching muscles, etc.Or... they are from Poland and are still bitter over the loss last week. Give these kids from Struthers and other schools some freekin credit for working so dang hard to get so far, win or loss. Once they get this far, they are certainly up against some heavy competition. Good job Struthers, way to be tough and hang in there. Great season for the fans and yourselves.
This is probably one of the best run and organized youth sports programs in this area. Good luck to these kids as they travel to Florida. This is something they all should be proud of and what a self confidence, leadership and overall good experience for them at a young age. GO YTOWN YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL bring home a win!!!
