Strong second half paces Struthers

There was a Struthers girls bball story written when they played Poland that had the same vibe.

Ohio Flag Football team going to nationals

This is probably one of the best run and organized youth sports programs in this area. Good luck to these kids as they travel to Florida. This is something they all should be proud of and what a self confidence, leadership and overall good experience for them at a young age. GO YTOWN YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL bring home a win!!!

YSU officer dragged during chase

Gee, I wish my parents would have taught me how to act as an adult as this fine citizen has done. And the best thing, people like this continue to procreate! Prayers to the YSU officer and his family during this holiday season... you were just doing your job.

UPDATE: Croley of Nitro's Law notoriety nabbed on probation violation

I have heard that the new owners treat the animals with care and compassion...and the animal rescue group is top notch as well. I just feel bad that they have to be in that same place where horrible things happened. I agree with all of the potential punishments this man should receive, but the overall thing that needs to be done is PASS NITRO'S LAW. Just keep animals away from this guy and punish him for gosh sakes, but I agree a slap on the wrist will be done. The victims are not just "animals" they are living things that need some rights in one way or another and those who treat them like crud to be punished.

OSHA cites Warren Fab for Hubbard plant violations

Good point oldstown, but maybe some regulations will cut down on workmens comp and disability claims. Ohio State BWC rates are so high, many private sector companies have to close their doors with one incident. Keep the stuff safe and that could be avoided. Many of these manufacturing companies really do slack off on safety procedures and sure, the employees should be aware of these items, but sometimes things don't work out that way. Also, keep things safe and sound and false BWC and disability claims from those that know how to "buck" the system can get off their butts and work rather than blame the private sector companies because of unsafe working conditions.

Smart... very smart... I hope that this law gets signed off on http://www.nitrofoundation.com/nitros...
Although I am sure that the new owners have all the right intentions, it is hard for me to drive past the old High Caliber and stomach that another K9 training/lodging facility is there.

Police look for man in East Side standoff, considered armed and dangerous

@Stan... I just chuckled thinking that the guy was in a disguise or something... maybe threw on a fake mustache and a pair of sunglasses and slipped right by them...
