I just got done shooting off several bottle rockets and no one was hurt. I am also a combat veteran and got mortared on a daily basis. The people that think you need to pass a law everytime someone farts are the people ruining this country. Bottom line - fireworks are fun and, when used with common sense, are pretty safe.
