I'm the individual this man is talking about.. This individual approached me cursing and asking me "how is it possible to be in a company van and use a handicap placard". I told the individual "that I have this placard legally through a dr.s prescription. I have health issues going back 20+ years and I am parking there legally". The individual proceeded to curse me repeatedly and reprimand me saying "that I should be ashamed of myself". He started moving towards me and I gave him a push and "told him to back off". He then yelled at me and cursed at me again. I then followed him to his car and said to him "that he is getting around very well and asked him why does he have a handicap placard?" He then saluted me with his middle finger and stuck his tongue out at me. I started laughing and walked back to my truck.
Bottom line: Should I be ashamed because I am disabled and choose to work? As long as I am parked legally, should I have to answer to someone (jr parking lot detective) when it is none of their business?
