Family says Rottweiler did not kill woman

As a Rotti owner myself, I know firsthand how loyal these dogs are. How heartbreaking for the family ...first they lose their loved one & then their beloved pet. So sad...I hope they are allowed to have him back.

Jailed owner: Will put dog down

A purebred Rottweiler has an exceptionally good nature and you will not find this dog snarling and attacking for no reason, neither will you ever see it barking in vain. They actually do not bark at people, they bark when they are disturbed say by noise, too much commotion, and any other such irritants. The Rottweiler can be a total lamb with its own and can transform itself right before your eyes into a terrifying beast, if he feels anything of his property comes into danger. It will however, not bite unless it is required. This is why the Rottweiler’s bad reputation is not well founded on facts.

Austintown opens to nondistrict pupils

You people all need to realize that the "bad" students aren't the ones looking for open enrollment...it's the students that are looking to get away from those students & situations. We have applied for open enrollment for our daughter who is in 3rd grade & has had straight A's since starting school. Maybe she will help your districts ratings with her perfect attendance & perfect grades. The "problem" children don't have parents that care enough to get up every day & drive their children to school...no, they send them right out to the bus stop or make them walk. Open your eyes people...

Ford, Chrysler and GM's contributions after 9/11

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I got this in an e-mail and found it rather interesting.

Ford, Chrysler and GM's contributions after 9/11

An interesting commentary...You might find this of interest:

'CNN Headline News did a short news listing regarding Ford and GM's contributions to the relief and recovery efforts in New York and Washington.

The findings are as follows.....

1. Ford- $10 million to American Red Cross matching employee contributions of the same number plus 10 Excursions to NY Fire Dept. The company also offered ER response team services and office space to displaced government employees.

2. GM- $10 million to American Red Cross matching employee contributions of the sam e number and a fleet of vans, suv's, and trucks.

3. Daimler Chrysler- $10 million to support of the children and victims of the Sept. 11 attack.

4. Harley Davidson motorcycles- $1 million and 30 new motorcycles to the
New York Police Dept.

5. Volkswagen-Employees and management created a Sept 11 Foundation,
funded initial with $2 million, for the assistance of the children and victims of the WTC.

6. Hyundai- $300,000 to the American Red Cross.

Condolences posted on the website
Whenever the time may be for you to purchase or lease a new vehicle, keep this information in mind. You might want to give more consideration to a car manufactured by an American-owned and / or American based company. Apart from Hyundai and Volkswagen, the foreign car companies contributed nothing at all to the citizens of the United States ...
It's OK for these companies to take money out of this country, but it is apparently not acceptable to return some in a time of crisis. I believe we should not forget things like this. Say thank you in a way that gets their attention. You still think Honda & Toyota are so grat?

Reuters: Auto bailout agreement reached

If the auto industry were to collapse like some of you people seem to want for whatever reason, it will have a much greater impact than some of you realize. Millions of jobs will be lost nationwide.

That includes more than 255,000 people directly tied to the three companies and an additional 2.3 million whose jobs are indirectly dependent — everything from people who work in the steel, glass, fabric, tire and electronic industries.

And for the people who say they are paying for this with thier tax dollars need to realize that at least we will not lose millions of jobs and have 3 million people standing in the unemployment line and collecting food stamps and receiving government benefits. Only then will you see your tax dollars at work!!! And to say that you will only drive Honda or Toyota is a slap in the face to all 3 million people who are hurting right now, as well as every soldier fighting in foreign countries, and every red blooded American who is tired of people like you who support other countries while we have starving children in our own. So f@ck everything youre about!!!

UPDATE: GM extends holiday shutdown, makes cuts

You jealous people make me sick with your comments about auto workers and the uaw when I don't see 1 fact here in all these posts. 3 bolts in a door, sit on our a$$ and get paid, WTF are you people talking about? If you knew your facts then you would know that if they receive the bailout money the contract would be opened for renegotiation not if they go bankrupt. Also we receive the same percentage from unemployment that everyone else does, the balance is paid to us by the union which we pay into every month. If you would like to avoid making an A$$ of yourself and believe everything you read maybe try posting a question and wait for a response from someone who works there instead of a bitter $10.00 an hour grunt!!!
