You know, this crap really has to stop. If the lefties want to make an issue out of race, I suggest the middle-of-the-roaders and those to the right should jump in feet first. I for one am more than willing to vote for a more qualified black person over a less qualified white person. In fact, I may even consider voting for Obama ten years down the road, after he has put in his time and EARNED his stripes. I certainly could have voted for him over most of his democratic primary opponents. But for anyone to say (not even suggest, but actually say) the reason I won't vote for Obama is because he is black IS playing the race card. It is a complete insult and totally condescending to me as a human. Who are they to tell me how I should feel, or worse, who I should vote for? So as far as jumping in, I would say to all of the people who are being insulted by this race baiting garbage, go to the polls and vote for the more qualified McCain, and be proud of it. And don't be intimidated (that is what they are trying to do) or back down from this garbage when it is thrown in your face. Just say "I am not voting for Obama because he is not qualified by any stretch of the imagination and McCain is by far the strongest person in this race. For you to suggest it is because of his race is beyond contempt and is an insult to me as a person and, frankly, I have now lost complete and total respect for you as a person. When you are ready to apologize, I may not be ready to listen." This is crap and has to stop. I guess if they just keep repeating it, some people may come to believe it. Let's not make it easy. If they want to play the race card, let them play it, but let's be brutaly blunt about calling them on it.
By the way, anyone who lays this crap on anyone else deservers all of the vile that will come their way.
