Yes it is. Brokers (scalpers) will fill the orders as they buy the tickets when they go on sale. They are not forcing people to pay the high prices, they are providing a service and fans have the option to buy great seats at an insane price.
Not fair to fans, but just business I guess. There and thousands of brokers across the country who all do the same thing.
It is not illegal to ell tickets for a higher price, as long as you are not on the property of the venue where the event is taking place. Look at such sites as Stub Hub and ebay. Brokers have computer software that allows them to bypass typing in the security words and this allows them to get in and grab tickets while others are still trying to type the security words and search for tickets.
Nobody at he Covelli Centre did anything wrong. There were thousands of people trying to get tickets at the same time and only 7000 were available. Elton plays major arenas and stadiums for the most part, so these tickets were expected to go very fast.
I was lucky enough to score 6 great seats next to the stage for Elton.
HOT TICKETS: Elton John fans sell out Covelli
