YSU union files lawsuit against its ex-treasurer

TheGreaterGood,

If you know anything about the University, nothing can be secret for any period of time. It’s apparent that your’re on a fishing expedition. No I’m not a current or former employee but I have recently graduated from Youngstown State University. YSU makes it very difficult to be proud of that Institution in so many circles. I believe the Jambar did a story about that.

Every “Personal Announcement” is forwarded to many recipients during the course of the day. Even many personal emails between Management, Faculty, ACE, APAS are forwarded , regardless of their policies.

Its apparent that the previous Union Administration uncovered the stolen money and did what was proper, an Audit. Those findings were turn over to the Authorities yet no action has been taken. Wonder WHY????? I sure their was a Motive! Furthermore, never accuse some one without the facts. Right Mel, OH! That’s Melodie Provencher who started a petition to remove Domhoff without any proof. But its apparent that backfired on her when the audit report came out. Now this individual is running for the ACE President position. No honor, No integrity. But I’m sure those who blindly follow her will vote for her to their destruction. Par for the course as they say, Ha, Ha, Ha! Your emails and blogs are shared with many, kept that in mind next time write about junk.

Maybe it has to do with the Petition that you most likely signed “Dr. Cyndy Anderson for President” I’m sure your feeling her LUV for OEA and ACE right now. Even the Faculty were caught up in the LUV feast from the last round of talks. I know their not singing her praises now nor will ACE after this Wonderful Administration is done with them! That’s right, you belong to one of those unfortunate groups.

Lets get back to the basics, The Law was broken and the Price must be paid. I prayer that the Feds actually conduct a probe just to see how many of you are involved.

The End, for all of you.

Teabagger,

“The Feds are coming, the Feds are coming” sorry for using your quote from a previous article but it fits well here.

YSU can not escape the criminal activity that surrounds the Mahoning Valley. What is interesting is that no Criminal Charges were filed.

Maybe it has something to do with the document circulating around campus which hints of a cover-up from the County and City Prosecutor and the Attorney who represented Ms. Hovanes in her bankruptcy case, I believe she’s related to one of the above. Fraud at the local and Federal level should equal jail time and disbarment!

Hey, Dept. of Justice, when will the probe begin? I’m sure the paper trail will lead to many valley officials.

I believe their will be some Public Sector jobs opening up in the never future in our wonderful Valley.

“The Feds are coming, the Feds are coming” Hey Mr. Brennan, “Didn’t you receive notice about the Federal Bankruptcy case?” You are a member of the group “Employees for Change” I see now what change your group was aiming for!

YSU’s future is bleak

HaydenThomas,

Bonus; Cost cutting measures;

It was President Cyndy Anderson’s idea about the Enrollment. Let’s see how many of her supporters that signed the Petition “Anderson for President” are going to feel when the layoffs start. Ha, Ha, Ha!, my belly is aching, You guys got suckered, didn’t you IT-Mike Caldwell-$111,000. OH! That’s right; the agreement was to hire your son!

Let’s starting cutting IT staff, many make $75,000 up & over $100,000 plus benefits. Some are so bored that they teach classes (Mark Welton-$109,000) during their regular shift collecting even more STUDENT MONEY! Some (Frank Betsa-$76,000+) read employees emails or watch online TV like in Network Services. Bring in the Geek Squad! I’m sure they would work for $30,000 a year with no benefits.

Quit hiring all these retirees that are double dipping. Examples, Human Resources hiring Diane Scahetti this just happen last week, so called budget crunch right Neil McNally Budget Director. Human Resources Kathy Ferguson, President Cyndy Anderson’s good friend Donna Wainio at $82,000 + benefits. The last two put a hurting on the healthcare budget, Didn’t Yous? Lets not forget the former Mayor Dan Mamula instructing young minds in Political Science, he knows a lot about politics, can you say Ron Chordas. All while collecting a pension from PERS.

Its time to give Strollo his walking papers. I mean look, he hired the football coach at $250,000 plus about a 1 million dollars in additional salary & benefits for his assistant coaches. I was no fan of Heacock but this move is indefensible. All the Athletic programs are one failure after another, right Elaine Jacobs. Right Elaine, you’re the one involved in the Overtime cover-up.

Vindy, do a public records request and an investigative report on the facts above. It will sell papers……………….

Gains seeks a 60% hike

NO RAISES! His office should be under investigation for the recent political favors he’s done. Example: Oakhill-give me a BREAK! How about the YSU issue that he put his BOY-Bush to go after Maldondo & Granger for so call fraud. I hear after every pre-trial Bush is asking everyone to take a plea. WHY! Because their so call case is falling apart. Haven’t they read the Vindy, Federal Arbitrators are saying the University‘s Witnesses were “Equivocal at best”. Equivocal - with intent to deceive or misguide!

Bush & Gains must be looking for the same pay-off Majeko received for prosecuting Maldonado & Granger, A TEACHING CONTRACT AT THE UNIVERSITY! This should increase their take home PAY! Wasting Tax Dollars!!! If they don’t like their pay, THEN LEAVE!!!! Lots of People in the Valley that need a JOB!

Hey Carol Rimedio-Righetti, if you want to be re-elected for a second term DON’T VOTE FOR THE 60% INCREASE – NO ON INCREASE. Live within the budget like the rest of us.

The Republicans clean house this mid-term election accept for the Valley. Maybe Valley Residents should request an investigation from the NEW Attorney General / Mike DeWine into these issues and finally clean the Valley from these Democrats.

One final comment to Gains and Bush, Are you giving a plea deal to the former Treasurer of YSU-ACE? She did admit to taking money and the audit revealed it was over $17,000. I’m sure you let her walk, RIGHT! The info you received from her wasn’t what you thought it would be……….. Keep that in mind when you pursue the others!

YSU’s losses continue to mount with regard to a key labor pact

Today's word at the Bar.

General Counsel for the University, who’s name has been mentioned in a number of posts here, still refuses to turn over documents to courts or for public records requests. She will continue to do so to protect Dr. A. and her cohorts from the public. They don't want the true out there. Shameful that our public dollars are wasted, that includes tuition dollars!

Chief_Justice_Spartacus

The answer to the one question you posed early and that was missed;

Cindy Miller – Manager of Human Resources Administration and Payroll Operations.

Steve Lucivjansky - Manager of Employment and Staffing

Carol Trube – Manager of Classification and Compensation

So many managers! These up standing individuals are continuing to testify on behalf of the University.

Your quote “After all, no honor among theiefs.” I guess Betsa is one of those thieves? Lets call them all out! Your not complaining about your undeserved enrollment bonus, are you? Let me guess, you really thing you earned!
