there is good and bad in every profession, but why do people always jump in to blame law enforcement, we have criminals walking the streets, who everyone knows should be in prison, but the charges are dropped or plea bargained down, right away believe the criminal. I blame the courts and prosecutors, the always want the easy way out, so now the good cops are fed up and tired. I blame the county and townships for the bad officers, it's not who is the best man for the job it is who you know no matter what an idiot you are look at boardman for example!!!! Kendall and some of there other cowboys!!
wow!!! Reading these comments none of you have the guts to be an officer of the law, in youngstown you have no idea what you will face when you pull up to an accident or pull over a car! Willie paraplegic or not had a gun it was gone when the police got there, but 2 people who were at the scene before the cops got there removed numerous things!!!!!! the courts believe the criminals instead of the men and women who put their lives out there everyday!
Obviously purchasing the oakhill building was a good move or else all these people wouldn't have accepted money to try and stop the purchase you always can save in the long run when buy versus rent especially if you have to pay for the repairs on a building you don't own. Wake up idiots, maybe ludt was really what was best for the county, you don't see his name on the indictment.
i will never vote for a boardman tax levy again, after being lied to about the previous levy, they were going to hire 10 officers spent thousands of dollars doing background checks, on the supposed future hirees, then didn't hire any now where did these 3 come from the names are not familiar on the list the newspapers had 1 1/2 years ago, so did we just blow that money!!!!!!! I am tired of it old or new trustees they need to go too!!

UPDATED WITH CHARGES: 7 indicted in Oakhill case

Boardman trustees hire three officers, put police levy on ballot
