The GOP isn't about to make nice with America either methinks. Given the state of the economy when President Bush left office, or should I say the deep gaping chasm that was our economy, I would say that President Obama has done a very good job. But that hasn't stopped the GOP from blaming their mess on him. That certainly isn't "making nice', nor is it very truthful. Given the possibility of a President Romney, why not take a look at how he might view helping the economy. Romney's Bain Capital owns Talk Radio shows that appeal to basest natures, such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Michael Savage, Jan Mickelson, shows that boost ratings by promoting fear, hatred, racism, misogyny, homophobia, and violence, shows that bend, distort, and misrepresent the truth, the mouthpieces for what many are calling The American Taliban . Ownership of these programs clearly signifies Romney's willingness to finance any sort of vileness to make money, which leads me to wonder what could be in store to shore up America's economy. Pay per view shows might be one way. Feeding gays to lions, scantily clad females convicted of using contraceptives, or having abortions (no matter the reason) forced to wrestle to the death, lesbians forced to have sex with men chosen by lottery, are ideas that certainly would be in line with Limbaugh's ideology. Democrats forced to play Russian Roulette, liberal judges who rule in favor of women choosing what to do with their own bodies and doctors who perform emergency abortions being hunted by by NRA members seem in line with Becks views of what America should be. We know Iowa what radio host Jan Mickelson would like- a show about pistol whipping any nuns who criticize, or disagree with any GOP policies. A Romney presidency could really fill the coffers, and the GOP could finally be rid of it's critics, once and for all.
The GOP think Americans are so stupid and forgetful, that they are trying to sell us on the same failed policies of the Bush era. Bush and the GOP took the healthiest economy in the history of America, with a $75 Billion surplus and on schedule to have a balanced budget by next year, and turned it into the weakest, most debt ridden economy in the history of our nation. The GOP spending policies came close to bankrupting our nation, and they think we don't remember? None of these same politicians that devastated our nation's security by weakening our economy and our dollar, should ever be given control of American's tax dollars ever again.
10 million Americans have lost their jobs, 4+ million have lost their homes, since George Bush took over, and the Republican campaign of "disinformation, mud-slinging, and expensive media ads that talk about anything but the facts have people exhausted with all the Election 08 BS. What Americans want are answers, and solutions. Since Obama has been talking about nothing but solutions, there is little new information to be had at a Biden rally, whereas at a McCain rally, Republican die-hards are desperate for any gleam of hope, that their man is anything but just another Republican in the Big Oil Big Business machine. One look at all the polls tells us they're not getting that hope, indeed their registered faithful are deserting ship quicker than you can say "Trillion dollar deficit".
It's a complete shock to the Republicans that the Obama campaign is ahead in the polls despite the GOP's dirty ads, robocalls, and all the other negative tactics they spend big money on, in order to try to get voters to Not think about the issues. This isn't 2000, when Clinton had our economy vibrantly humming along, with a balanced budget, a trade surplus of $79 Billion, and we were on track to pay off all National debt by 2012. Life was good for Americans, so we were an easy target for the Republican's vote rigging, negative campaigning, and their specialty, misinformation. This is 2008, our economy was almost destroyed by 8 years of big spending and lack of money management common sense, we are deeper in debt than ever, not even including the $500 Billion we owe Communist China for the Treasury Bonds President Bush had to peddle to them, to hide the terrible state of our economy. The 10 million people who have lost their jobs over the last 8 years, and the 4+ million people who have lost their homes are going to have a hard time caring about who was in a room painting walls for poor people with Obama, when putting food on the table or paying for a visit to a doctor are becoming insurmountable problems. 2008 has so many Americans on the internet now, as well, making it much more difficult to lie about issues, voting records, and candidates in general. With people's ability to search out facts for themselves on the internet, the media's "pundits" have less effect on our thinking, and decisions. I thank God for the internet, because without it we probably would have had 4 more years of Bush/Republican policies of throwing all our tax money at Big Oil/Big Business, while average Americans are completely ignored.
Obama can’t be that naive

Does size of the crowd matter? We’ll find out Nov. 4
