I never met this man, but I still think we are all failing to remember that this is still a life lost. This man had friends and family who loved him and will miss him. Grief is hard enough to bear in this situation. Posting rude and/or ignorant comments about him will not make it any easier for the family nor should it make you feel any better about yourself.
I agree with Daron's daughter, he does not deserve a life. How would this guy even think he could work with children after being convicted of several murders????
I feel bad the mother lost her son, but clearly he has some blame in the situation. How does the mother even know the chin strap was secure? I am sure the force of impact had something to do with the helmet. No where in Ohio is the speed limit 90 mph. As for getting closure with a lawsuit? She is suing the estate of the other deceased young man who also has a family to think about! No amount of money is going to bring back her son or alleviate the guilt over his death.
I too was in 880 while in college. This is probably the most corrupt union ever. Even though we had a "contract" my employer did not pay our health care premiums because he said he could not afford it. When I called the union, they let it slide saying he could not afford it! Yet, I continually paid union dues. The union states Nemenz does not pay what others make in union stores, do they have proof of this? If so, are the union workers still making more after paying union dues to a union that does absolutely NOTHING for them? Also, these people who are being PAID to picket, would they picket on principle alone if they had to do if for FREE? I agree with above poster that we should picket the picketers. Next Saturday everyone should show up in front of Nemenz a store at 10 AM with a sign in support of Mr. Nemenz!
Should race be a factor in the selection of the next superintendent of Youngstown schools?
Instead of flagging a comment as offensive, I would like to flag this question as offensive.

West Side Lanes robbed
Little judgemental are we? The article did not even mention the race (if known) of the gunmen.
