What a wonderful article. I was involved in that transport and they were all wonderful dogs. I often wonder how anyone can just discard their animals. Each one has a story. Volunteering to transport is a great way to help without the time to get too attached. (big problem for many of us!) I used to foster often until I ended up with six dogs. Now I just do the transports.
