I have finally decided to comment after reading so many negative comments by readers and by Mr. DeSouza referencing all blacks as being on the take. I am a college graduate who has worked full time for the last 45 years and loved every minute of it. I am not a native Youngstowner, but I have found Youngstown to have some of the kindest, friendliest, most hardworking, most trustworthy, most hopeful, meanest, unfriendliest, most adverse to work, most untrustworthy, and most hopeless people (black and white) ever. I live in a beautiful Youngstown neighborhood where my neighbors are black and white. A large percentage of my black neighbors are professionals who take excellent care of their properties, but the value of our properties have been diminished because of the whites who keep junked cars in their driveways, don't paint their houses when needed, keep garages full of junk and let the doors remain open for all to see, let gutters fall off of the houses to never be replaced, don't keep their grass cut and don't trim shrubbery. The value has also been diminished due the blacks who do all of the above also. For those of you who would put everyone in the same pot, remember it works both ways. I am a REALIST.
