Driver shot by cop in struggle

First off my prayers are with everyone involved.. Someone commented that the officer should have shot the tires. In the position this officer was in that would have been a very stupid move. If he had missed he could have injured or killed an innocent bystander. I believe that what he did saved innocent people from being injured. What would the comments be if he had simply left go of the car and allowed it to drive uncontrollably out of the parking lot and that car seriously injured or killed someone in the way. I think then everyone would be bashing the police for not doing their job. He did what he was trained to do. Yes he severely injured a young man, but he possibly saved several other lives by his actions. No one had to be hurt but this young man made bad choices and thankfully he was the only casualty of his mistake.

Tell us about your streets! How did the plowers do?

I live on a county road in Springfield Twp. The county plow drove through twice after the first snow. They never dropped the plow. When a neighbor called out to the driver and asked why they didn't plow, the driver gave him the finger. Road still has not been touched and there is still 4-6 inches of snow in the intersections. I know they aren't going to come to my area first when there are many more main roads that need done first, but if you're going to drive through at least plow while you're there. If there is a logical reason why you can't plow the road, tell us, don't insult us with your middle finger!
