I am a student at the same high school and a proud american. I think this all is a bunch of bologna, does she not realize that shes not standing for the rights that she has the opportunity to with hold. People fight everyday to protect the very freedoms we have and the pledge is showing respect to that. You could live in a place where she doesn't have the right to sit and not praise the leader of her country and be sentenced to death. She should be thankful to live in a country where she has the right to speak what she feels in the first place. Even if you dont agree with the pledge at least stand up and show respect to those who fight for your freedom to voice your opinion. If you don't like America you can just geettt on outtt!!
