LOUIE FRIDAY: Editor Todd, dog killer Steve Croley and Nitro's law debacle,

I can only hope this violation of probation will be enough for the state of Ohio to see that a slap on the wrist isn't taken seriously. We need to see felony charges against those who commit these acts. Pass Nitro's Law, and let's start holding these people accountable.

EVEN NITRO KNEW: A BUTTER KNIFE ISN'T A SCREWDRIVER

@Ohioanimallover,
You stated that in your opinion, the fact that he has Hannah and Peanut still should be enough to throw him in jail.

The fact remains that one portion of his probation stated that he was not to harbor dogs. BY LAW, this should be enough to put him back in jail. But of course, he sneaks by again and will be spending his Christmas at home.

I'd like to know -- where are the dogs now?! Are they still in Croley's home? Did the judge truly release him and say "Oh, you violated your probation by having these dogs but go ahead and go back home to them"? It's insane. One thing is clear, this man believes he is above Ohio law. He needs to be punished with maximum sentencing, and Nitro's Law needs passed immediately so that situations like this one can be responded to with more appropriate punishments.
