First off, we pay taxes for the school regardless if our child goes there. So we should be entitled to busing. If not, then you should agree that my tax dollars should go to whatever school my child attends. Second, people want to complain about those that send their child to catholic schools. Is it really better to leave a child at a school that is failing? The dropout rate in this country is extremely high which in turn affects our economy tremendously. So a little bit off money spent to transport a child to school doesn't even make a dent in the money that we as a country lose by the million of children that dropout every year. We should worry about the education of these children more than anything else.
