Commissioner pleads guilty to theft

Am I missing something here?
He was investigated and there was evidence he misused funds from 2004. Also questionable purchases from 1997? And he is resigning this month ???? What does he think he is a Congressman or Senator?

Body-dragging suspect free on bond

If you got connections in the area like he does you get off easy. If that was her son that was hit the other guy would probably be in GITMO by now. This actually shouldn't surprise to many people. I just hope that Mom's connections don't have much effect on a civil suit and they take them for every dollar they have and will earn for the next 50 years. I thought those get out of jail free cards passed out during the election was just a political gimmick. Guess I should of kept mine.

Sen. Sherrod Brown optimistic automaker loans will pass

First it was the Insurance companies we HAD to bail out with out tax dollars to save our economy
Then it was the banks we HAD to bail out to save our economy
This week it is the automakers we HAVE to bail out to save our economy. Who, of course, has workers who brag how they make so much money for sitting around doing nothing.
Next week can we try and save the tax dollars and bail out the taxpayer?
