By the way, lot's of people union or not made 2 bucks an hour 45 years ago. The problem with teacher contracts is that we have teachers retiring after age 56 making 85% of their salaries for the rest of their lives. We have administrators paying nothing towards their retirement and health care while receiving money for car usage. I worked in union steel mills 35 years ago and people were sleeping and hiding back then and that still continues. Unions did a lot of good things for workers and saved a lot families but it's gotten totally out of hand. We just can't afford more of the same. Time has come.
