To suggest that anything the Oakland could ever do would rival an Easy Street production is ludicrus. Easy Street has the esteem of being the area's only professional theater company whilst the Oakland is a sub par community theater that caters to liberal low lifes and attracts acting and directing wannabes. It wasn't always that way. The Oakland has been racing steadily downhill since Sandy Vansuch left. The latest crop of Oakand enthusiasts lead by the classless Robert Joki and Brooke Slanina and the like are severely lacking in talent and seemingly void of morality. Shows about drugs, violence, sexual deviance, gender confusion. I would much prefer to watch The Music Man or The Miracle Worker than anything Robert Joki would come up with. Where is the world going to? If you are a responsible citizen like myself, I implore you to support Easy Street and boycott Joki and the Oakland.
