They tell you and then turn their heads. You personally don't think this is managements fault probably because your management or a management suck ass. I expressed my fears about this years ago to the management there. All they want is the metal out, the job shipped. These poor young guys found a job, were trying to do anything they could to keep it. They've always cut corners on safety out there I've seen it and lived it. I don't know who you are but you don't know what your talking about here. They don't have to hold your hand but they should always enforce safety rules and they didn't and probably don't. It boils down to profits and these guys finally paid the price. I see the coroner ruled it accidental but it was negligent homicide. Management didn't hold up there end here. I was there , I worked there, I know how they operate. Now they've gotten away with murder...
When I worked there years ago the racks falling off the guide rails was a constant issue that I complained to management about. I'm sure nothing changed after I left. Management was aware of the issue I hope that those responsible for allowing the unsafe conditions to exist are brought to justice. I'm sure they'll try to blame the workers or claim that it was an isolated incident. It wasn't when I was there. I also hope enough of the guys working there have the guts to speak up and make sure that management doesn't get away free on this..
